There was a greater force working against me on this. I had an entry almost finished during the first week, I was proud of it, and when I went back to finish it I discovered that THIS PARTICULAR FILE could only be opened as a black square. I re-did it, this time going all out on a bloody THREE-IMAGE SEQUENCE featuring the battle, and I had it done and ready the day before the deadline, too. But when I brought my laptop to a wifi hotspot to submit my entry, THE MAP WAS EMPTY, and the file was gone. At that point I had less than five hours to get back home, whip this freaking thing up and get back to the hotspot to upload it. At the end I could barely hold the pen because my hand was cramping up, and I even missed the deadline with a mere two minutes... O well. I suppose it's just as well... I doubt I would've made the cut with this piece of crap anyways, so no loss. Not to mention I learned the importance of regularly virus scan my computer :/



Taishi-Umi, if you're reading this I *seriously* apologize for putting your character up in such a crappy state. I didn't even use the gym leaders pokemon I somehow managed to convince you to use ( there REALLY was no time to try to draw a Purugly in there) and I swear on my drawing hand, one day I'll put all my skills into some giftart to make it up to you for this utterly pathetic piece of crap.
